Oktana and Ko - #2 variant cover

I did a variant cover of the 2nd issue of Oktana and Ko, and they made a 'virgin' variant without the logo.

They look a lot like this!

Chapterhouse Archives #3 Captain Canuck !

My next published work is going to be in Chapterhouse Archives #3 featuring Captain Canuck

Solicitation on this one reads:

Introducing Chapterhouse Archives, an ongoing monthly series that reprints all of the essentials in the Chapterhouse catalogue. All Archive issues feature an all new cover and five page back story by some of comicdoms brightest and best! “The Canadian Connection” sees the RCMP appear, the first appearance of Heather and Canuck injured. Story and art by Richard Comely and second professional comic art by George Freeman. Featuring cover art by Hugh Rockwood and an all-new 5 page back story (that takes place between Captain Canuck #3 and 4)

Yep, I'm doing the backup on this one and had a great time drawing my childhood hero. Its a thrill for me to be able to contribute to the 'director's cut' of these classic comics.

It's out in June, so look for it at your local comic shop!

Frogman #3 cover

Frogman 3 is almost upon us!

The cover is now released, and looks like this...

It's drawn by writer, co-creator and all around nice guy, Matt Fitch. Keep watching the Dead Canary Comics website for the actual release date.

Art Blast April - Judge Dredd

April marks the 6th Birthday of this blog. In order to celebrate, and save folks having to go though all those old posts, I decided to have an 'art blast April' here on the blog! My goal here is to bring recent viewers and twitter folks some of my favorite pieces of art that I've done over the years. I'll update this every few days for the month of April...I hope you enjoy.

First up is a Judge Dredd piece that I did with inker extraordinaire Guillermo Ortego.

It was colored by Guillem Mari, whose colors look amazing once printed. (they look pretty awesome to me her too, dont get me wrong!)

Working on a Judge Dredd Story for Rebellion remains one of my career goals. Its definitely on my bucket list
